FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

We work with both individual and institutional investors. This includes high-net-worth individuals, family offices, corporates, financial institutions, and other professional investors who are seeking disciplined, long-term capital management.

We follow a research-driven, risk-aware process. Our team analyzes fundamentals (such as cash flows, balance sheets, management quality), market conditions, and valuation before any asset is included in a portfolio. We aim to build diversified portfolios that can withstand different market environments rather than chase short-term trends.

Depending on the mandate, portfolios may include public equities, fixed income (such as government and corporate bonds), money market instruments, and selected private or alternative investments. The mix is tailored to each strategy’s risk profile and objective.

We charge a management fee as a percentage of assets under management (AUM). This fee covers portfolio construction, ongoing research, trading, risk management, and reporting. The exact fee depends on the strategy and size of the mandate and is agreed in writing before you invest.

Some strategies include a performance fee, which is only charged if returns exceed a defined benchmark or hurdle rate. Where applicable, performance fees are calculated using clear, pre-agreed terms (for example, a percentage of returns above a benchmark, often with a high-water mark so we do not charge on the same gains twice).

In addition to management and any applicable performance fees, there may be standard transaction costs, custodian fees, or regulatory charges. These are fully disclosed in the offering documents and discussed with you before you commit capital.

Liquidity depends on the specific product or mandate. Some portfolios offer daily or weekly dealing, while others (especially those with private or less liquid assets) may only allow monthly or quarterly redemptions. The dealing and notice periods are clearly stated in each fund’s documentation.

Certain strategies, particularly those with longer-term or illiquid investments, may have initial lock-up periods and/or require advance notice before redemptions. This is designed to protect all investors by allowing the portfolio to be managed prudently. All lock-up and notice terms are communicated upfront.

Where applicable, early redemption fees or adjustments are disclosed in the fund terms. We do not apply hidden penalties. Our aim is to align liquidity terms with the underlying assets and your investment horizon.

Client assets are held by independent, regulated custodians in segregated accounts. This means your securities and cash are kept separate from the fund manager’s own assets and are safeguarded under applicable regulations.

Investors typically receive detailed portfolio reports on a quarterly basis, including performance, holdings, and a market commentary. For certain mandates, we can provide monthly summaries or online access to portfolio information.

Reports usually show your portfolio value, contributions and withdrawals, performance over various periods, asset allocation, and a breakdown of key holdings. We also include a commentary explaining major drivers of performance and any significant changes in positioning.

You will have a dedicated relationship contact or client service team. You can reach us via email, phone, or scheduled meetings to discuss performance, strategy, or any changes to your objectives or risk profile.
